New Audio Guides at The Louvre museum

The audio guides from the Louvre Museum are now Nintendo 3DS. A fun, high-tech to visit the largest museum in the world.

With the technology of the Nintendo 3DS, in addition to the 700 audio commentaries on 7 languages, there are 3D photos of the galleries, high-definition images of the artworks, and 3D reconstructions to help you identify the exhibits and give you extra information. Also the new interactive map on the dual screen of the DS means you can’t get lost.

Rental from the museum’s ticket desks and ticket machines. Guides issued at 4 counters: under the Pyramid, and at the Denon, Sully, and Richelieu entrances. Full price: € 5 / Reduced rate: € 3

The museum is open every day except Tuesday and the following French holidays: December 25, January 1, and May 1.

Wednesday, Friday: from 9 a.m. to 9:45 p.m.

Rooms begin closing 30 minutes before museum closing time.

The Centre Pompidou invites us to discover this spring the painter Henri Matisse during a special exhibition.

The exhibition offers a tour of the entire work of Matisse (1899 to 1952) including the paper cutouts of the four Blue Nude (1952).

The exhibition invites us to discover the simultaneous approach of the same pattern in two or more clearly distinct formal treatment, through various works of Henri Matisse.

The business corner is now equipped with an Imac to stay connected with the world.

The bar is open daily from 7:00 to 2:00 for a one-to-head, a reunion, a drink with friends or a relaxing time. A place to enjoy international newspapers (French, American, English, Japanese …).
